Job Opening: University Of South Carolina Seeks Director Of Compliance

The University of South Carolina is looking to hire a Director of Compliance. The job posting advertises a minimum salary of $48,622, which could be more based on experience.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree and two years of related program experience. Alternativiely, candidates may comply with requirements by having a Bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience.

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is a must. Experience in an athletics setting at an institutional, conference or national association level is preferred.

A summary of the job description is as follows:

The Director of Compliance Services serves as a member of the Office of Compliance Services (OCS) and reports to the Associate Athletics Director and Assistant Athletics Director. This position works in conjunction with OCS staff to implement NCAA, SEC, and University of South Carolina regulations. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and/or implementation of monitoring systems to ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC, and University of South Carolina regulations. This position provides interpretative assistance to coaches, administrators, student-athletes, and representatives of the university and develops and/or implements rules education curriculum to provide effective updates on relevant legislation for administrators, student-athletes, and representatives of the university. Additionally, this position is expected to represent OCS at selected department and university events and meetings.
