Rudy Gobert Joins Other Celebrities As Investor In ReKTGlobal Esports Company

Rudy Gobert is now an esports investor. The 2-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year invested in ReKTGlobal, the parent company of Rogue and owner of London’s Call of Duty franchise team.

In addition to serving as the parent company of Rogue, ReKTGlobal owns marketing services company Greenlit Content and has a multi-year streaming and esports contract with game streamer Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo, who was named one of Time’s 25 Most Influential People on the Internet.

ReKTGlobal says that its mission is to bridge the gap between the multi-billion-dollar business of traditional sports and the burgeoning business of esports and competitive gaming.

Gobert plans to not only provide capital to ReKTGlobal, but also co-host livestreams and deliver creative fan content alongside current Rogue players. He says that his passion for gaming is well-known among his Utah Jazz teammates and his team in France, and that he has wanted to invest in and get more involved in esports for a while.

“For years now, I’ve used gaming to unwind and relax during the season,” says Gobert. “It’s also how I manage to keep up with my friends when I’m on the road. I’m especially looking forward to playing with the new Call of Duty franchise team before they begin competing next year.”

Rudy Gobert joins other celebrity investors in ReKTGlobal such as Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero, Imagine Dragons, Tainy and Nick Gross.
