Coming off an undefeated college football campaign, the University of Central Florida (UCF) is looking to revamp its athletic department with the hiring of a new Associate Athletic Director of Compliance. The job opening indicates that the annual salary appropriated for the position is roughly $87,000, but it is negotiable.
UCF prefers that the candidate has a strong knowledge of NCAA regulations, is available for some team travel and evening/weekend work and has experience maintaining a Division I Athletic Compliance Office. Either a master’s degree with four years of appropriate experience or a bachelor’s degree with six years of appropriate experience is required.
Duties of the job include being responsible for managing the athletics compliance program, including standard operating procedures, policies and documentation to ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, university policies and procedures and applicable laws. Additionally, the Associate Athletics Director will develop, implement and maintain an education program for coaches, college athletes, athletic staff, boosters and university personnel.
