The Action Network has seen a boost in mainstream relevance since sports business journalist Darren Rovell ventured to it from ESPN. But the Chernin Group backed sports analysis and media company that focuses on sports betting is still only in its early stages, predicting a lot of growth as legalized sports betting continues to pick up steam throughout the United States.
Now, The Action Network is looking to hire someone to serve as Head of Growth. There are not many details surrounding the position.
What we know is that the Head of Growth is expected to bring technical performance marketing and creative execution to the statup. Per the job posting, “The Head of Growth will be responsible for defining, leading and executing a strategy to acquire, retain and grow core product paid subscribers. The ideal candidate will improve product KPIs across various touch-points in the user journey, in addition to improving recurring revenue by decreasing churn across the network.”
The job posting was published by The Action Network CEO Patrick Keane, who was spoken fondly of by Rovell and highlighted as an important reason why Rovell felt comfortable making the switch from ESPN to the startup.
Not interested in this particular opportunity? No problem. The Sports Biz has many other job openings that it has published in the past.
