Be Rewarded For Getting Hot And Steamy At Warriors Games During 2018-19 Season

The Golden State Warriors will be entering the 2018-19 regular season as the clear favorite to win the championship once again. That type of positioning typically makes potential sponsors very interested in creating an association, and HotelTonight must be happy that it was able to strike a one-year deal with the NBA franchise leading up to tip-off.
The deal builds on a previous partnership HotelTonight
had with Warriors forward Draymond Green. HotelTonight is adding some spice to its sports sponsorships with the Warriors partnership by putting together a new twist on the Kiss Cam, with levels that go from “basic” displays of public affection to “charming” to “get a room” status.
Those in-arena fans who are able to take the romantic exchange to the next level will be awarded free hotel stays by HotelTonight. Additionally, HotelTonight will use geolocation technology to geofence the arena and provide fans with access to extra discounted Geo Rates should they choose to book a hotel room for the night while they are at a Warriors home game. The brand will also receive standard in-arena and digital branding as part of the deal with the Warriors.
HotelTonight’s experience with sports sponsorship extends beyond Green and the Warriors. It has previously engaged NFL defensive back Richard Sherman for campaigns and has worked with the New York Yankees, Chelsea Football Club and the New York Knicks and New York Rangers (through Madison Square Garden) on similar deals.
A HotelTonight company spokesperson says that sports sponsorships work particularly well for the brand as it looks to innovatively compete against larger entities such as Expedia and Booking.com for a share of the marketplace. Further, being based in the Bay Area made it easier for HotelTonight to justify a connection to the Warriors organization.
While HotelTonight’s deal with the Warriors is for just one year, the brand is in talks for a future opportunity in connection with the Chase Center, which is the new home being built for the Warriors.
