It kind of bothers me that ESPN has a job posting for Deputy Editor of Esports, but writes it out as eSports. We are in 2019. ESPN should know by now that the “E” should be capitalized and the “S” should be lowercase.
Anyhow, the Worldwide Leader is looking for someone to come in any oversee the editorial operations for ESPN Digital & Print Media’s esports coverage and off-platform distribution for original content. The job is based in Bristol, Connecticut.
Candidates must have at least eight years of experience in editorial and content creation, as well as at least two years in “people management.” Preferred education is a bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, English or a related field.
