CBD Company Retains Former Pro Bodybuilder David Hawk For Biz Dev
Cannabidiol (CBD) companies are increasingly seeking to affiliate themselves with former professional athletes as they attempt to take market share and eyeballs away from each other. The latest such company to fall into the fold is California-based company Isodiol, which produces 99%+ pure hemp derivatives in bulk quanities, white label formulas and a branded line of finished goods.

Isodiol has entered into an agreement with fitness expert and former International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) professional bodybuilder David Hawk, who will focus on business development for Isodiol’s wholly owned subsidiary ISO-Sport. Hawk joins other former athletes such as former New York Jets player Marvin Washington as an ambassador of the brand.
The trend of CBD companies associating with athletes should only continue as sports leagues consider following the trend set by Ice Cube’s Big3, which now allows CBD use by players. In June, I covered former NFL player Justin Staples becoming the Director of Business Development for Illinois-based Revolution Enterprises, which is involved in the growing, manufacturing and dispensing of cannabis.
