Auburn Coach Bruce Pearl Voted Sweatiest Coach In Cute Clothing Line Promo
In maybe the least surprising victory during this March Madness tournament, Bruce Pearl has been voted the sweatiest coach in college basketball according to Mizzen+Main, the high-performance dress shirt company well known for its comfortable clothing line and its ads featuring Phil Mickelson.
Mizzen+Main released a list of the sixteen sweatiest coaches, dubbed the “Sweat 16,” in college basketball to tip-off the tournament. Pearl and new Texas A&M head coach Buzz Williams battled for the top spot early on, but as the tournament wore on and things heated up, Pearl received the most support among the more than 7,000 votes cast.
Bruce Pearl will receive a tongue-in-cheek first place trophy in honor of his win, as well as the opportunity for a “closet takeover” from Mizzen+Main.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Mizzen+Main has become a clothing option of choice for those looking for more comfort in their business and business casual attire. The shirts are stretchy, keep out moisture and require no ironing or dry cleaning. The company has been busy on the the sports marketing front this year, including an endorsement deal with Kyler Murray and several ads around MLB Opening Day.
There is also a Vegas prop bet regarding Pearl’s expected sweat level during the Final Four.
